Bridging the gap between fixed installation and portable applications, Samson introduces the new Auro active speaker systems. Designed to encompass the key elements of power, portability and exceptional sound, the Auro D412 and D415 are lightweight, two-way active speakers that combine superior components and meticulous engineering.
Both speakers provide 400 watts of output power and house a 1.34-inch compression driver. The D412 employs a 12-inch extended low frequency driver while the D415 boasts a 15-inch low frequency driver for a little extra action on the bottom end. The result is deep, articulate bass and sweet, lucid highs, creating well-balanced and expressive audio in any situation.
“We’re a company of musicians, so we wanted to design a speaker that we would love using,” says Mark Wilder, Director of Marketing for Samson Technologies. “And the Auros really fit the bill. We engineered them for power, resilience and simplicity, providing pro-quality sound and ease of use for musicians.”
Two oversized carry handles and polypropylene construction make the Auro speakers portable and durable while a convenient 1/4-inch line input, XLR mic input, volume control and 2-band equalizer ensure professional sound capabilities and easy integration into a PA setup. “If clear, powerful, full-range sound is what you’re looking for,” says Wilder, “Auro will exceed your expectations.” Click here to read the rest of the article from Keyboard Magazine
